Long ago a Casio
Was the original digital
No need to wind
To keep date and time
It was clearly visible
It removed that bind
Of month end wind
For somehow it could remember
Thirty days hath September
Each leap year, crystal clear
◆ ◆ ◆
Tempus fugit and the twist
Is now on my wrist
My watch as if by stealth
Watches over my health
And tries to motivate me
Sometimes I think it hates me
◆ ◆ ◆
Now there's no harm
In my Garmin
It has my interests to heart
Time to move, make a start
Trainers on, do up the laces
Try to do ten thousand paces
Stress levels high, try some deep breathing
Take a break, Time to move
You've reached your goal
◆ ◆ ◆
Orange footprints run amok
On the face of this tiny clock
Stress is high
And to tone it knows my fat burn zone
Now there's no harm in
A Garmin
◆ ◆ ◆
But it causes morning unrest
When my pulse is higher than my steps
◆ ◆ ◆
At a glance, as if a dance
I can quickly know
Whether my pace as if in a race
Is quick quick slow
◆ ◆ ◆
As I walk along
It Bluetooths a song
Don't have to guess with GPS
◆ ◆ ◆
Despite all that nagging
I must admit
It stops me from flagging
And keeps me a bit fit
